Worsleya procera or the Empress of Brazil is a beautiful blue flowered plant,it is mainly found growing on cliffs on the side of waterfalls and it also lives in extreme and moist areas.Its a monotypic species in the genus Worsleya.Its the largest species in its subfamily. Keep it in a temperature between 2-32 degrees celsius.It flowers during summer when around eight flowers bloom that are 6 in wide.

Similar Species[]

The Flowers of the unrelated genus Vellozia are strikingly similar but smaller and the leaves are straight,instead of arching downward like Worsleya procera does.They are also found in brazil.Though young plants of Worsleya, their leaves do not arch
